CIMB Group's investment banking and securities business in Indonesia is offered through PT CIMB Securities Indonesia. Over the years, the Jakarta office has built up an excellent franchise in institutional equities, especially in institutional sales, trading and research. Recognising the potential of the retail market, we gradually developed a name in retail equities, in addition to equities trading, corporate finance advisory and investment banking services.

PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk is the Group's consumer banking arm in Indonesia. CIMB Niaga offers a comprehensive range of banking products and services, both conventional and Shariah, through a network of more than 600 branches in some 120 cities across Indonesia.

PT CIMB-Principal Asset Management is an Indonesia-based investment management company, responsible for developing, managing, and distributing a comprehensive range of conventional and Shariah-compliant mutual funds and other investment products for corporates and institutions.

With the Indonesian economy forecast to grow more than 5% in the next few years, the financial landscape will have tremendous opportunities for all product suites. Thus, there will be greater opportunities for staff as we expand and grow our businesses.

Our Businesses

CIMB Group's presence in Thailand is through CIMB Thai, CIMB Securities (Thailand) Ltd and CIMB-Principal Asset Management Company Limited. CIMB Thai is the 10th largest commercial bank in Thailand, comprising a network of over 140 branches all over Thailand. The bank offers a platform to operate and offer a wide range of financial products and services to Thai customers, both corporate and retail.

CIMB Securities (Thailand) Ltd is the Thai investment banking and securities brokerage arm of CIMB Group. It is licensed to undertake investment banking services, stockbroking and equities research. Helmed by a capable and highly experienced management team, CIMB Securities Thailand provides its local and foreign clients superior advice and execution.

Meanwhile, CIMB-Principal Asset Management Company Limited is a Thailand-based investment management company, responsible for managing and distributing a comprehensive range of mutual funds and other investment products, and also customised portfolio mandates for corporates and institutions.

Our Businesses

CIMB Group has had a presence in Singapore since 1947 through Ban Hin Lee Bank, a predecessor of CIMB Bank. Over the years, the Bank served a small loyal base of SMEs, providing them traditional banking products and services. The Group's presence then intensified in 2005 following the acquisition of G. K. Goh Stockbrokers Pte. Ltd. Through this acquisition, the Group made significant progress on the corporate banking and capital markets front.

Singapore's position as the region's most developed economy and financial gateway makes it an essential component of CIMB Group's regional franchise. Realising this and also in response to the demand of customers in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia who frequent Singapore, the Group officially re-branded its Singapore retail banking franchise and started offering a full range of financial products and services in September 2009. CIMB Bank Singapore leverages on the Group's extensive regional network and resources to bring innovative products and services to the Singaporean market.

Our Business

CIMB Group began its foray into Cambodia in November 2010 through its consumer banking arm, CIMB Bank, with its first branch which also serves as the headquarters located right in the heart of Phnom Penh city. With long-term development and prospects in mind, CIMB Group aspires to bring the banking industry in Cambodia to the next level, at the same time reinforcing its position as ASEAN's leading universal banking franchise.
